Thrive Support Groups
Support is essential for human beings and is especially beneficial when faced with a new diagnosis. Sometimes sharing about your diagnosis and learning from others going through similar circumstances can be very therapeutic. Our THRIVE program includes support groups virtually and in-person for cancer patients and caregivers. In-person groups are spread throughout the Mid-South. Our support groups are open to those diagnosed with any kind of cancer to share and process together in a safe space. These monthly groups provides a chance to connect with others going through similar experiences. Check out the groups below to find one that fits your location and schedule.
Crittenden Cancer Support Group

Caregiving is rewarding and a beautiful act of love, but it can feel lonely and isolating without proper support.
This group is open to people living with ostomies and their caregivers. Participants will learn how to adapt to colostomy/ostomy bags after surgery, meet others receiving ostomy care and gain access to educational resources from Baptist Union County.
This group realizes quitting smoking is difficult and can bring a flood of negative emotions, like fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, uncertainty and doubt. Tobacco Cessation Support Group provides a space to share and process these emotions while adding accountability and community to help throughout your tobacco cessation journey.
